Papertrey Ink Oct 2011 Blog Hop

I've been uninspired for a little while now but my creative spark was ignited this past weekend by the True Scrap event hosted by Lain Ehmann and the package of new goodies from Papertrey Ink. So I'm jumping right in with my take for Papertrey Ink's October Blog Hop which started today. My first time joining in so be gentle with me!

So from this challenge photo......

I made this......

I was drawn to the mix of patterns in the pumpkins and the touches of brown and green. I used pop dots under two of the cones for some dimension. Definitely will take the photo much earlier in the day next time so I can take advantage of the natural light. The colors in the card aren't as bright as they really are.

Thanks for checking it out!

Supplies: Cardstock: Memory Box, Patterned Paper: My Mind's Eye Stella & Rose (Mabel Pad), Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Dies: Papertrey Ink Sweet as Can Be, Wine Bottle Tag, Sentiment: Papertrey Ink Fillable Frames #10 Stamp Set, Twine: My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Collection, Adhesive: American Crafts Foam

  5. Sherrie, I'm loving this ice cream cone! :) Great paper piecing! To answer your question on how I set up $5 stamps. I purchase an extra label (you can find that button on the stamp set page) and then fill them in CDs as usual. For sets like Flower Fusion...I put two per CD case to save room. Hope that helps! :) Thanks for the comment!
