Its time for Lain Ehmann's Layout a Day (LOAD) Challenge again. This month marks my 7th LOAD challenge and I am excited! I always accomplish so much, probably the most scrapbooking I get done all year. I love the camraderie on the message boards as well as the inspiration from Lain's prompts and the gallery.
Here are my first two layouts -
Day 1
I was very inspired by Lain's prompt on the first day but I didn't have the right pictures for the layout I wanted to make but am definitely saving the idea for later on this month when I get my print order. So I made this layout with a collage photo I have on 11 photos I took on November 11, 2011. Just a nice snapshot of our everyday life.
Day 2
The prompt today was to scrap a favorite photo and this one instantly came to mind. I hadn't scrapped about Sophia yet, especially not since she passed away in June 2011. As hard the subject was, the journaling was surprisingly easy to write and the page came together quickly. Still, I cried the whole time.
