colourQ challenge #142

Its been a while since I crafted with all the goings on during the last weeks of school. Whew, glad that's all over now!

Here's a card I made for an upcoming birthday using the fabulous colors at ColourQ this week:



I used the Doodlebug slim swimming pool sunburst card as my base to showcase the banners from my new PTI Heart-2-Heart #5 set. I used PTI's Hawaiian Shores and Hibiscus Burse inks as well as Versamagic Ocean Depth and Brilliance Sunflower yellow. I love the scalloped edge on the card.



I used foam dots to add dimension to the pennants on the banner.


I stamped the sentiment from Think Big Favorites #15 several times on the inside of the tri-fold card.
