It was a very busy weekend with activities for girl scouts, birthday parties, dinner with friends but I was happy to have found some time to create this weekend. I think the proximity of my new craft space in the basement has something to do with it.
I played again with the FUSION Card Challenge this week but decided to tackle Lesley's challenge.

I made several attempts before this one because I tried to emboss the entire flower over both the dotted and kraft base but there was always a small gap where the edges met so the flower ended up looking like it was in two pieces. So in the end decided to clear emboss the hydrangea flower only as well as the bow.
Thanks for stopping by!
Supplies:
Paper: Memory Box Kraft, PTI Soft Stone & Soft Stone Dots
Stamps: PTI Happy Hydrangea
Other: PTI Happy Hydrangea dies, American Crafts Clear Embossing Powder, Versamark Ink
Sherrie, what a lovely card. I think that sympathy cards are so hard to do. This is perfect.
