I made these two cards using a never inked PTI set With All My Heart. Thought I would have used this set more but I don't really make 'I love you' cards for my husband. Back in the day before I made my own cards, we used to buy Hallmark or greeting store cards. It was getting expensive to mark each occasion with these cards - can't believe some are over $5! So we started a little journal that we pass back and forth to each other when we want to mark each celebration or milestone. Its wonderful to read what we wrote to each other over the years.
Color inspiration is from ColourQ this week.

And BIG THANKS to you all who stop by here regularly and leave wonderful comments and kind words. I appreciate all of you!
Supplies:
Paper: Neenah White
Stamps: PTI With All My Heart
Ink: PTI Pure Poppy, Hawaiian Shores, New Leaf, and Melon Berry
What a lot of pretty stamping, Sherrie, it makes for a fun card! Thanks for sharing your card with us at the colourQ.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet cards! I love how the hearts seem to be floating from the word! Thanks for joining us at colourQ!
ReplyDeleteSherrie, these cards are so cute! I really love the second one! It's like the hearts are floating out from the word LOVE. I think the idea of the journal you share with your husband is wonderful! I wish I'd thought of it 20 years ago! The store-bought cards here in Australia (including Hallmark) are usually at least $7 or $8 and often over $10. I think my handmade cards are nicer, and they are definitely less expensive. ;-)
