Summer Card Camp Week 2 Day 3
I'm playing catch up with the Summer Card Camp since I was away last week. I decided to jump in with Week 2 and work my way backward when I have time. Week 2 brings a more masculine softer color palette.
Here's a card I made using one of this week's sketches. I attempted one of the featured techniques of creating my own plaid. Unfortunately I do not have a suitable solid line stamp in my stash so I created a border using the letter X on its side stamped with the alternating colors. Not quite plaid but I think it looks pretty good!
The front panel is cut so that the inside border can be seen from the front and the flowers are hanging off the edge. Love this look and need to remember to do this more often! This picture shows the detail on the border a little better -
ETA: I am also adding this card into the Moxie Fab Birthday Card Challenge!
So much more from this class to come. Thanks for stopping by!
