Back in the swing of things.....

Summer is officially over for us as school starts tomorrow. What an amazing summer its been! We hung out with family and friends, spent time in Nags Head NC, Frederick MD, Williamsburg VA, and of course, the Jersey shore. I'm a little sad about them going back to school, but also relish getting back into a routine and hopefully I'll get some more craft time in. Definitely didn't get to do much this summer and I missed Papertrey's Stamp-A-Faire all together! :(

I just moved into my new craft space in the basement. Its a bit smaller than the space as I had in the attic but I think I can use it more since I'm closer to the hub of the house. Other pro is that the space is dedicated so I no longer have to clean up and put away my supplies every time we have houseguests. Con is that its a basement, so I don't get any natural light in. Trying to make it pretty and colorful so I won't feel like its a basement. Pictures soon....

I made a few cards this weekend to get my new space warmed up.

First up is a card I made for the CAS-olgy challenge this week which is apple. I also used the sketch challenge this week at CAS(E) This Sketch. This simple card also fits in with the Back to School challenge at CAS-ual Fridays.

Next card uses the fun colors at ColourQ this week. Sketch design inspired by one of the Stamp-A-Faire challenges.
