Here's a card I made for the Dynamic Duos challenge this week which uses two subtle colors - kraft and artichoke. For this one I dug out some old supplies that I haven't used in forever so it actually felt new. I die cut PTI's Tree Tops out of Memory Box Kraft cardstock and stamped the trees in Ripe Avocado. I cut the landscape using PTI In The Meadow dies and stamped one of them with the Bitty Background Blocks II in Ripe Avocado. I tucked the trees in and popped one up with foam squares to create depth. Sentiment is from Mama Elephant's Many Thanks set.
Hoping to get some more crafty time in but I'm organizing the book fair at my kids school this week so its been tight.
Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteHow creative, Sherrie. I love cards constructed into a scene. The trees are so trendy- perfect design for the colors. Thanks for sharing with the Dynamic Duos this week!
Lovely card. I like how you created the debpth with the layers and the tress tucked in. Thanks for sharing with the Dynamic Duos this week.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun card. I don't think I every used this set (that I had to have the moment it was released). I think you have encouraged me to pull it out.
