Teacher Cards

I have two cards to share today for the Papertrey 7th anniversary celebration - Day 6. The challenge to create a project using a large word as a focal point.

I decided to use the Wonderful Words Teacher die as my focal point word when I found this embossed script alphabet paper from Core'dinations. I sanded down the top of the alphabets so that the white core of the grey/khaki paper now shows through. I remember buying a bunch of this embossed card stock but never used it. Time to dig it out!

I pairs this paper with two different color combinations and stamped the rest of the sentiment on a banner. And adhering the Wonderful Words dies are much easier now that I learned the trick of running the card stock through my xyron before die cutting.

Yay, two cards for teacher appreciation week in May done!

Thanks for stopping by to look at my cards.

  1. Fabulous teacher cards. The sanded paper looks great in the background.
