Papertrey March 2014 Blog Hop
So many ways to go with PTI's Blog Hop theme this month - High Gloss. Other than enamel dots, I don't usually add shiny elements to my cards.
I knew I wanted to use the new PTI color Tropical Teal but in a small dose since it is such a strong bold color. I also knew I wanted to include glossy in a smaller dose as well. So for this card, I die cut the thank you sentiment in tropical teal and applied glossy accents to it for a shiny look. It took a while to dry but it was nice and shiny afterward. I did the same thing to a few hexagons as well which I scattered around the aqua mist hexagon dry embossed card base. I added a few other hexagons in complimentary patterned paper from Pebbles and in summer sunrise to brighten the card a bit.
Thanks so much for taking time to stop by! I'm looking forward to seeing all the fun shiny creations on the Blog Hop too.
