The card is for my niece's Christening in a few weeks. I wanted something soft and pastel for her card so I stamped a few of the images from PTI's Snowflake Flurries set which don't actually look like snowflakes to me. When stamped with colors outside the Christmas palette, these images could be graphic flowers, suns, or star bursts. I almost never use them as actually Snowflakes. Weird huh?
I heat embossed a cross in the middle and embossed the sentiment in white on vellum. Card design inspired by this week's CAS(E) This Sketch challenge.
That's all for me now. Will post a couple more cards tomorrow. Hope you had a great weekend too! Thanks for stopping by.

So pretty, Sherrie. I have this set too, and I never use them as snow--to me they don't even look like snow and that is why I bought the set. Love them as graphics or flowers.
ReplyDeleteLike Joyce, I never use these as snowflakes, they seem to be able to make any card look amazing like your is. So sweet and just so perfect for your niece.
