Before we head out, I wanted to share two cards I made last night while finishing up season 2 of Orange is the New Black. Anyone watch that show? Wow, right?
I'm working on replenishing my thank you card stash which was depleted last week with teacher/staff gifts. I stamped the thank you sentiment (from PTI Thank You Kindly) repeatedly on a angle in the ColourQ challenge colors this week. Then I thought more rows in a different direction would give the card a different twist. It looked a little bare in the center so I added a sentiment banner popped up with foam adhesive.
For my second card I was inspired by this week's CASology cue word WOOD so I used the PTI Through The Trees stamp which has been sitting neglected for a while now. I stamped the tree block in the middle and used chalk to create the sunset colors in the background. Haven't used chalk in a long while but thanks to a recent PTI Make It Monday video, I've rediscovered how easy they are to use.
