As many of you know, color challenges are my favorite type of challenge. So when Katie and Tara asked me to join the Colour Me Design Team, I was so honored and excited.
This week's Colour Me....Monochromatic features a deep purple color. I knew I wanted to make a birthday card for my cousin whose favorite color is purple.
I embossed the blooms from PTI Meadow Greens in white on dark purple Bazzill card stock. I love the texture heat embossing gives. I cut the panel diagonally and stamped my sentiment from PTI Think Big Favorites in the middle. I added a few white enamel dots to the centers. Quick and simple. This would probably make a nice sympathy card too.
I hope you will join me at Colour Me each week. The Colour Me team has made some beautiful cards this week so head on over their blogs and check them out.
And our featured designer for July...Anja Curvers
