I was inspired to make this card using the candy wrapper for CASology's challenge this week.....
I dry embossed stripes on the card front and added the sentiment from Hero Arts that I thought would be perfect with the candy wrapper.
Hope you are having a great weekend and able to create something today for World Card Making Day! Thanks so much for stopping by.

Yum! Thank you for joining us at CASology Sherrie!
ReplyDeleteI think this is so funny, as we have someone in our family (my husband) who is always sneaking other people's chocolate and leaving the empty wrappers behind. Brilliant idea and fantastic card!!
ReplyDeleteThis is very clever. I wonder if you are sorry that you ate someone's chocolate? Or something else. What a fantastic card, and I wonder how many Hershey's hugs were sacrificed to make this card. A whole bunch, I hope. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology this week.
ReplyDeleteOh boy is this one clever card. Wonderful take on the cue word.
ReplyDeleteSherrie, I love this idea! Your sentiment goes so well with the "hugs" that accompanies the wrapper! Perfectly CAS and perfect for the cue this week. Thanks for joining us at CASology! Hope you had a great WCMD!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Hershey's Kiss wrappers make great embellishments for cards don't they? Love the embossed background. Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me laugh! I love how well that Hershey's Hug works for the apology! :) What a creative CAS design!!!
