Colour Me.....Monochromatic! #49

Hello friends. Its time for a new Colour Me.....Monochromatic! challenge  and this week we are using the smokey slate which is like a pale grey,  You can of course,  create anything with these colors and add in neutrals such as black, gray, white, kraft, and vanilla.

I made another wine bottle tag to beef up my gift tag stash. I was excited to use the new PTI Uncorked set.

I die cut a wine bottle tag out of grey Echo Park Style Essentials patterned paper. I cut a second bottle tag out of white and cut it down so it would fit nicely on top of the patterned one and so you could still see the cool pattern. I love the sentiments most in this set - all so different and unusual. I stamped the sentiment on the bottom to act as the ground for my various stamped glasses (using the generation inking technique in Smokey Shadow and Soft Stone).

I layered two double ended banners together (white just seemed boring by itself) and put it on top of the white panel slightly askew.

I hope you are inspired to create something great with this monochromatic scheme. Be sure to check out what our design team has done with it -

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving for those who celebrated last week. Mine was great though exhausting. We hosted this year and I did most of the cooking for 10 people. One of the highlights of our meal was the Carmelized Bacon appetizer. I'm linking the recipe from Ina Garten aka the Barefoot Contessa.  It was relatively easy to make, can do ahead, and gobbled up in mere minutes. I mean, seriously, crispy bacon with a crushed pecan, brown sugar, and maple syrup crumb topping. Delish!

Have a great week!
