It's PTI Blog Hop day! Its been a while since I participated but was really excited when I saw the inspiration photo and found myself with some crafty time recently.
For my card I stamped a row of balloons (from Balloon Bash) in Mint Julep, Lovely Lady, Lemon Tart, Aqua Mist, and Summer Sunrise on a watercolor cardstock panel. After inking up the balloon I lightly misted the block before stamping resulting in a muted look. I added balloon strings in Soft Stone and the Happy Birthday sentiment (Think Big Favorites) in Stormy Sea. Tried Soft Stone first but it was hardly visible with the colored balloons underneath. Finished the panel off with embossing from MFT Wonky Stitches before adhering to Lemon Tart base.
Fun stuff. Can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with from the inspiration photos. There's always such a wide variety of creations. Thanks for stopping by and see you around the Hop.
