I needed a card to thank my friend and her family for a wonderful long weekend we had at their home in Rhode Island.
I used the trees rom PTI City Scene to create a monochromatic row of green trees. Monochromatic color scheme keeps things simple. I stamped the larger Thank You sentiment from Keep It Simple THANKS across the tree trunks and the rest of the sentiment (from Thanks All Ways) along the bottom. I die cut the whole panel with the Simon Says Stamp Postage Stamp die and adhered to a green card base from AMuse.

I love everything about this card, Sherrie! Terrific design!
ReplyDeleteDitto to what Jacquie said. I loved this from the moment I saw this on the DT blog! :)
ReplyDeleteVery delicate card Sherrie ! I love those green "simple" trees with the coordinated background ! It's a use of the cue word that I didn't think about ! Very beautiful ! So thanks for sharing and for inspiring !

I've been admiring this card for weeks, it seems. Love all those trees lined up, with different shades of green. And, the funky edge on your white panel is great.
ReplyDeleteI love this card...just so clever using those sweet trees!
ReplyDeleteLove all those shades of green too...so soothing, and a great way to say thanks!
ReplyDeleteHey Sherrie!! I love those trees. They are different then any other trees that I've seen. Pretty card.
