CASology #233 GLISTEN

I'm dreaming of a white christmas,
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops GLISTEN and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow

Those are the words that have been floating in my head ever since I saw this week's new CASology cue word: GLISTEN.
And you know that once song lyrics get into your head, you can't think of anything else...

I heat embossed trees from PTI Holiday cheer in silver and the ornaments in a dark blue on a piece of stitched white card stock panel. Couldn't get the camera to capture the 'glisten' in the embossed trees but they really go look shiny and sparkly in real life.  Sentiment was embossed in silver to match the trees. Card base matches the embossed tree ornaments.

Please check out the how the rest of the team was inspired by GLISTEN!

  1. I was thinking of exactly that same song when I made my card. Love your glistening trees.

  3. Now I'm singing along too thanks alot ! Fab card beautifully done and love your glistening trees. I do hate trying to photograph anything metallic I think it always looks better in real life and am always disappointed at how golds/silvers look on my blog. You did a great job.
