Happy 300 Friday Inspiration File

I have to admit that I stalk Kara's Friday Inspiration File on Pinterest every week and browse through the collection every time I'm stuck. So I'm especially excited to play along this week for her special 300th challenge. I didn't have to go very far before I found an amazing card that spoke to me. I picked this fabulous creation by Kay Miller, picked by Kara for Week #300. I love all the white space and the monochromatic arrangement of flowers.

For my card I masked the bottom portion of the card and blended Aqua Mist ink into the background.  I stamped a few leaf sprigs in New Leaf along the bottom and stamping them twice without inking. I added a few small flowers from MFT Flashy Florals in various PTI greens with the centers stamped in slightly darker colors. I nestled the sentiment at the bottom of the strip. 

So that's it for me for tonight. I'm holding my breath here in NJ, waiting for the 5-10 inches of snow after a 60 degree day. Thanks for stopping by...
