Card & A New Friend

Here's a card I made using the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch this week with inspiration from the CASology challenge 'FISH'.




I white embossed the pretty sea images (Hero Arts) onto a paint chip and also embossed the sentiment on the bottom from PTI Daily Design Sentiments. Card front has a touch of texture from the PTI linen impression plate.

I made this card with a new friend Nelia I met online (she's on the right in the pic). After seeing her work in many of the same challenges I play in and checking out her blog, we realized that we live in the same town. Small world right? I spent a fun evening this week at her place playing with her supplies. She suggested using the graduated colors on the paint chip.
