Papertrey Ink Anniversary Take 1

February is a great month for me creatively speaking. Every February I participate in the Layout A Day challenge where I create a scrapbook layout each day for a month. But it is also marks the anniversary celebration of Papertrey Ink where there are LOTS of fun challenges and prizes to keep me especially busy!

Two cards to share right now.

Day one's anniversary challenge was to select a Color Recipe card and a Sketch Recipe card and create a project with it. For this first card, I chose these cards.

I love the contrast of the white against the red cardstock and I'm definitely using my Ruby Rose set now that the special Ruby Reprise set has come out.

Day 2 of the anniversary festivities challenges us to use a graphic from the designer sampler. I used Heather Nichols's gorgeous 3x4 card for my project. I can't wait to see what she has in store for this year!

I rounded the corners on the card and then layered two hearts in Scarlet Jewel and White Shimmer and tucked it in under the card. Simple and cute I think.
