Touch of Glitter

OK, I admit it, I don't like glitter. I always hated it when my girls came home with art projects with glitter on it. I hate when glitter is on the table, floor, and everywhere. I own glitter but I rarely use it. So I surprised myself when I used it for this thank you card.

I wanted to create a bountiful panel of pretty flowers (my favorite Mums The Word set) in red and pinks (ColourQ's challenge colors this week) and nestle the sentiment (Mama Elephant) within the flowers. Done. But the card needed a little something. So I decided to raise the panel higher instead of centering it and I adhered a strip of Scor-Tape and burnished some glitter on it. Kinda like the sparkle on the card. What do you think?

Thanks for popping by!

  1. I love the glitter, and that strip is such fun. Great sentiment, and fabulous way to use those pinks with those mums.
