I made another card for this week's Cutting Edge challenge. This time I found inspiration in the card design of the inspiration photo.
I used some pretty small heart patterned paper from Pink Paislee to anchor the die cut hearts which I adhered in different heights with foam tape to enhance the layered effect.
I stamped the sentiment from Clearly Besotted directly on the card base but the ink smudged. UGH! So I added a coordinating sentiment banner on top of the smudged sentiment. I would have preferred to put the notched end on the right side but the smudge was still visible so I had to do it the other way.
I don't LOVE the notched end on that side but don't think its bad enough to be trash can worthy.
Hope you'll check out the fun new Cutting Edge challenge. Its definitely different to focus on die cuts vs just stamps. Thanks for stopping by!

So adorable :) love the summery colors ! and tiny little hearts
ReplyDeleteSherrie, this is just too cute! I love your bright hearts and your min heart paper, what a sweet combination.
ReplyDeleteLove how you combine all the heart. Very sweet and pretty card! Thank you for playing along with us at The Cutting Edge :)
ReplyDeleteGreat take on the challenge. Those hearts are so sweet. You made a great save, too, for your smudge. That banner looks like it was meant to be there.
