Two Card Tuesday

So back from vacation and was busy catching up on laundry, grocery shopping, and all those lovely chores that I happily took a break from for 10 days. I finally got back into my craft room last night and it took a few bad cards to get me into the groove again. But I refused to go to sleep until I had made two cards I was proud of. Much easier to stay up too as I was also catching up on some of my favorite shows I missed last week.

First card I'm sharing uses the happy colors at ColourQ this week. Such vibrant bright colors are perfect for a birthday card.


I stamped the little cupcake from Tiny Treats Birthday along the border and added this unusual birthday greeting from Building Blocks in the middle.  And of course, I added a few enamel dots because they remind me of sprinkles. 




Haven't played along with CASology in a few weeks so was very happy to see their new cue card Letter. SO many ideas run through my head for this one! 


I took a small Bazzill envelope in my stash and stamped Special Delivery (from Special Delivery Sentiments) on it and added the smaller sentiment in blue on a Building Blocks die. 



I also added the airmail design on the bottom in blue and red for a little bit of interest. 


Haven't had time to comment on blog posts yet but I've been keeping up with all your pretty creations.....

    I love the air mail stripes on the bottom of your card - it really ties all your elements together! So glad you joined us at CASology this week!

    What a great birthday sentiment - so different! The little cakes look great in the colours, especially with the enamel dots. And the Casology card is a perfect example of the cue word! Thanks for playing along at Colour Q!
