Feels Like A Long Time....

.....since I just played around in my craft room for fun. The past month or so has been crazy busy (in a good way!) in my life and I've spent very little time creating. I've kept up with my DT responsibilities at Colour Me...! but that's about it. No other challenges or anything else.

In mid-October, my brother got married and my niece got baptized and we spent a few days down in NC - 

My friend and I went to a taping of The Chew. Its not a show I normally watch but still fun to go see how it all gets done behind the scenes. Kris Jenner was one of the guests promoting her new cookbook. 

All the craziness of Halloween followed.... 

Then the following morning we surprised the girls with their first visit to all the wonders of Florida - Universal Studios and Disney World. They had NO IDEA it was coming! 

We are BIG Harry Potter fans in my house so the Wizarding World of Harry Potter was our favorite. The details they incorporated into creating this world were AMAZING! I could just sit in the Leaky Cauldron all day drinking butterbeer. 

Whew, exhausting right! Thank goodness my card stash is fully stocked that I was still able to send out some birthday and thank you cards! I've been keeping up with everyone's blog and creations but haven't had time to comment but hope to get back to that soon. I do appreciate the comments you have left here....makes my heart sing!

So we are back for a week now and I had a chance to play along with the fun at CASology. Cue card is FESTIVE and the DT also played along with Tracey's 25 Days of Tags this week so I made a holiday tag as well.

I used PTI Holiday Cheer trees in some non-traditional holiday colors. Well red and green are traditional but Hibiscus Burst (pink) and Hawaiian Shores are not typical. I offset two die cut tags so the Hawaiian Shores is showing and highlighting the ornaments in the tree.
