CASology #186 DISTRESS

It's Tuesday again and it's time for a new CASology challenge - DISTRESS

For my take on DISTRESS, I decided to use distress inks which is my favorite thing to play with these days. It can be hard to keep distress inks clean and simple so I confined my design to one side of the card to preserve white space. I blended Tim Holtz distress inks in Mustard Seed and Wild Honey on half of the Clear Scraps Spiral stencil to create a sun. Color is darker toward the middle of the sun. Sentiment is from Hero Arts.

There are so many ways to take DISTRESS and I can't wait to see what you guys do with it! There's a prize from our sponsor Lawn Fawn this week.

And be sure to check out what the fabulous DT members have created this week:

Have a great week!

  1. Amazing sponging, and I love your rays of sunshine. Great idea to have it go off one side of the page.
